Volunteer
Our PTA is always excited to welcome new volunteers! Volunteering is not only helpful to our school, it sets a great example for students to see parents caring and engaged in their community and education.
We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available to fit anyone's schedule and lifestyle. Expressing your interest through our survey puts you under no obligation to volunteer, and we're happy to find you an opportunity that works for you.
If you'd like to volunteer for the PTA, first register here to volunteer with the school district, and then fill out the volunteer interest form.

APEX Fun Run Volunteers
Parent Lighthouse
The main goal of our Double File Trail Parent Lighthouse program is to include families in the learning and leadership that happens at our school. This includes:
Promoting the 7 Habits at home, collaborating with the Student Lighthouse Team, and supporting teachers and students during the school day.
Parent Lighthouse has some exciting opportunities available for you to volunteer for!
Art Class Assistance
1) Uploading Kindergarten and 1st grade artwork onto Artsonia.
2) Volunteer to help in art class during lower grade level classes.
UIL Chess Puzzle Group
An experienced chess player to volunteer for six to eight Thursday meetings from 7am-7:35am beginning in mid-October.
